Bachelor of Interior Architecture

The Bachelor of Interior Architecture program at Lawrence Technological University is an accredited, professional baccalaureate degree program that encourages students to explore the field of interior architecture and design in a manner that is practically grounded, critically framed, and deeply invested in cultural relevancy and technical advancement.  The program is accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) and is a registered campus center of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA).

The Bachelor of Interior Architecture program prepares students for careers in interior architecture and design through placing value and emphasis on environmental, psychological, cultural, social, economical, spiritual, technical and physical factors to comprehensively respond to human needs. The program is integrated with the undergraduate program in architecture, providing students the opportunity to experience the interrelationships among disciplines as they are exposed to a variety of design theories and philosophies. Critical thinking and creativity are important in the development of the person as well as the professional and are emphasized throughout the curriculum.
