Standard Tuition Reimbursement offered to Companies
Lawrence Technological University has a long standing history of educating part-time adults where they work or at our university in Southfield. We will partner with any industry that wants to provide professional development for their employee’s whether it be for credit or non-credit. We have a variety of cohort programs that we can provide to companies and below is a sampling of those programs. Our partners include those in the private sector, not-for-profit, institutions and government.
Tuition Benefit to Individual Employees who come from outside companies
Any currently employed professional will be afforded the LTU tuition benefit and wants to take courses on campus or through LTU online:
Part Time Undergraduate Students - $1,300.00 off of tuition costs per semester
Full Time Undergraduate Students - $2,500.00 off of tuition costs per semester
Graduate Students (part-time or full-time) - $200.00 off of each course
On-Campus – Company Tuition Benefit to Companies who want to have their employees attend on-campus or through LTU online as a cohort
This LTU on-Campus-Company Tuition Benefit will be afford to any company that wants to have a cohort of 15 students or more take a set of courses, gain a certificate or take individual courses to retool or develop a new skill or ability the rate will be the following:
Part Time Undergraduate Students - $1,500.00 off of tuition costs per semester
Full Time Undergraduate Students - $3,000.00 off of tuition costs per semester
Graduate Students (part-time) - $300.00 off of each course
Graduate Students (full-time) - $500.00 off of each course
Off-Campus – Company Tuition Benefit to Companies who want LTU to offer onsite programs
This benefit will be afforded to any company who wants LTU to develop courses to be brought onsite or bring existing courses, certificates, programs and/or a set of specific courses that will enhance skills at the company.
A minimum of 20 students would be required to offer this benefit and the rate would be the following:
$490.00 per credit for undergraduate programs – a savings of 34 percent
$612.00 per credit for graduate programs – a savings of 39 percent
LTU will work with the professionals at the company to develop the courses, service the students, evaluate their courses and provide support mechanism so the employees are successful and the company’s goals are met.
