Applications for the Resident Assistant position for the 2018-19 academic year are now available!

RA Position Information
The Resident Assistant (RA) assigned to your community is a student who has been selected for the position because of his or her leadership skills, concern for others, ability to communicate, knowledge of University resources, and willingness to accept responsibility. RAs receive extensive training and are your primary source for information and assistance during the school year.

The RA Hiring process happens in two stages. The first stage is an individual interview with the Director of Residence Life, Residence Hall Coordinators and two Resident Assistants. The second stage is Group Process where applicants are assessed on their ability to problem solve and plan in a group setting.

RA Information Sessions
Applicants are strongly encouraged to attend an RA Information Session to learn more about the position and the application process.  Information sessions are scheduled for the following dates:

Thursday, January 11 at 12:15 p.m. in Buell Management Building, M218
Tuesday, January 16 at 12:15 pm in Buell Management Building, M218
Tuesday, January 16 at 9 p.m. in Donley Residence Hall

Thursday, January 18 at 9 p.m. in South Residence Hall

We will also be offering an RA Resume Workshop on Monday, January 22nd at 9 p.m. in Reuss Hall.
