New Student Convocation
Speaker: Former Michigan Governor James Blanchard
Receiving the Global Citizen's Award

We encourage parents and family to join us for this special ceremony. New Student Convocation is one of only two occasions where LTU’s president, Dr. Moudgil, members of the Board of Trustees, the deans of the four colleges and the faculty gather in a formal academic setting focused on students. The other, of course, is the graduation ceremony, Commencement. These two events are the seminal “bookend” events of a college career.
